T-Ring Reflections – Dave Morton

Greatness in Longhorn sports is not the qualifier to write about special memories as a Longhorn student-athlete. If that were the case, I would not be able to write anything. All managers, trainers, and student-athletes insights, special memories, and lessons learned need to be captured for Longhorn posterity.

To that point, I want to thank Rey Moreno for all his hard work in procuring images and content for the track and field section of the TLSN website, (like the picture below of Matina), and Byrd Baggett for his insights on Carl Johnson. (Byrd has also contributed other significant content to the TLSN website.)

I do hope James Means, at some time, will contribute his essential part in the history of Longhorn Sports.

As always, TLSN content is free, insightful, historical, and educational. Last month 15,000 plus Longhorn fans learned a little more about the history of Longhorn sports.

Respectfully,

Billy Dale
